Jane Oak:
Jane is a Certified Legal Specialist in Immigration & Nationality Law by the State Bar of California, and she is the principal attorney of the Law Offices of Jane Oak & Associates, P.C. With over 24 years of experience, Ms. Oak has established a reputation as one of the most respected and trusted immigration attorneys in California. Currently, her law firm employs 7 attorneys and 10 support staff with offices in Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Jose. They have served thousands of clients in obtaining non-immigrant work visas (H-1B, R-1, O-1, L-1), employment-based and family-based greencards, E-2/EB-5 investor visas, and U.S. citizenship.
Ms. Oak graduated with a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law in 1998 and then worked for a couple of years at a large firm in Century City. Her passion for helping people, namely the disadvantaged immigrant community, pulled her away from the corporate world and into her own practice in 2000. From 2008 to 2011, Ms. Oak served on the Board of Directors for the Christian Legal Society-Los Angeles. And, for several years, she served on the Board of Governors for the Korean American Bar Association of Southern California (KABA) and was KABA's President for 2012. She and her associates are active members of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and serve the community through seminars and participation in free legal clinics.
