Redemptive Business Consultant, Founder of the Metron Manager Project
Jonathan Nowlen is a redemptive business consultant, author, and missiologist dedicated to restoring the dignity and mission of vocation. With decades of experience as a global missions leader, his work has spanned 60 countries. As the founder of The Metron Manager Project, he focuses on redemptive theology of work, equipping believers to advance the Kingdom through their vocations. Jonathan is also a strategist, speaker, podcaster, coach, and creator of The Ways of Work corporate training program.
A recognized thought leader in redemptive and faith-driven business, Jonathan consults with organizations to integrate purpose and meaning into their operations. His recent clients include Beautiful Lives Boutique, Purpose Brands 414, Explainify, Anthology Real Estate, and The Buttered Biscuit. He also designed and facilitates the Marketplace Mission track of the Northwest Arkansas For The Nations conference.
Jonathan served for 11 years as the Executive Director of CEO Global USA, an international educational nonprofit that impacted over 120,000 people worldwide. During his tenure, 30,00 leading university students completed the academic program The Way to Success (TWTS). He also spearheaded the expansion of CEO Global’s programs into numerous U.S. universities, including establishing The Way to Success as a certificate program under the Executi Education Department at the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas.
Prior to that, Jonathan gained extensive cross-cultural and executive leadership experience, overseeing hundreds of faith-driven and redemptive projects around the world. Drawing on all of this experience, he founded The Metron Manager Project to bridge the gap between theology of work and real-world application. Jonathan is the author of three books: Faith and Five Dollars, Outreach Matters, and Managing Your Metron: A Practical Theology of Work, Mission, and Meaning. He is a longtime member of New Heights Church in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where he holds recognized Global Work status. He lives with his family in Northwest Arkansas.
