Roy Tinklenberg
Founder of
Faith and Work Movement
Roy Tinklenberg is a flawed follower of Jesus, a husband, father, pastor, and the founder of Faith and Work Movement Global (F&WM), a nonprofit supporting employee-led corporate Christian fellowships and ERGs (Employee Resource Groups) at Fortune 500 companies.
F&WM Global’s vision is to positively impact companies that impact the world. Roy began F&WM in 2014 by inspiring and equipping Christian employees to start workplace fellowship groups at several Silicon Valley companies so they would have a psychologically safe space where they could encourage and empower one another to bring their full selves to work.
Realizing a need for a collective of workplace fellowships that would cross-pollinate and share best practices, Roy envisioned creating an employee-led network of F&WM Global chapters with hubs in several cities worldwide. F&WM Global now supports a growing global alliance of Christian workplace fellowships hosting workplace worship nights in 19 city networks. F&WM equips leaders at and more than 150 companies via leadership retreats and training seminars in North America, Europe and Asia, and virtual coaching calls. F&WM’s goal is to connect Christians working in the Forbes Global 2000 so they can strengthen and support one another.
Prior to his ministry with F&WM Global, Roy served in pastoral ministry in multicultural churches in Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area. He received an InterCultural Studies MA from Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, CA and completed requirements for a Master of Divinity at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando.
He and his wife Esther have been married for 30 years and have three kids!
